Genres We Love
We are open to a wide range of genres and are particularly interested in stories that push the boundaries of imagination.
Fantasy and Science Fiction: We adore richly imagined worlds with intricate plots and compelling characters.
Romance: From sweet to spicyyyy, we love, love! We are especially interested in contemporary romances and those that blend seamlessly with other genres.
Mystery and Thriller: Suspenseful narratives that keep readers on the edge of their seats.
Speculative Fiction: Stories that explore the “what ifs” of the world, blending reality with fantastical elements.
Young Adult and New Adult
Memoirs: We value personal stories that offer insight, inspiration, and a glimpse into unique experiences.
Writing Journals that Inspire (Very Selective): We are interested in journals that encourage creativity and reflection.
Author and Writer Workbooks: We look for resources that aid writers in honing their craft and sparking new ideas.
Creative Fiction and Nonfiction
Photobooks (Very Selective): We admire visually compelling works that tell stories through images.
Cookbooks (Very Selective): Culinary books that offer niche or overlooked cultural insights and personal anecdotes, preferably by Black and Brown authors.
Short Story Collections: Only ones written Diverse voices and storytelling styles.
Poetry
What We Look For in a Manuscript
Unique Voices: We are drawn to fresh perspectives and distinctive voices that offer something new to the literary landscape.
Compelling Characters: Characters should be well-developed and relatable, with clear motivations and emotional depth.
Engaging Plots: We are looking for stories with strong, well-structured plots that keep readers hooked from beginning to end.
